Now Hiring – Experienced Water/Wastewater Operator
Consolidated Public Water Supply District No. 1 of Clark County is accepting applications for an experienced Water/Wastewater Operator to join our team.

The District is currently undertaking a major regionalization project that includes the construction of a new ion exchange groundwater treatment plant, expansion of our transmission and distribution system, and continued investment in modern infrastructure. Position Summary
The primary responsibilities of this position include completing work orders, locating and repairing water main and service line leaks, installing and replacing water meters and water services, maintaining water mains ranging from ¾-inch through 14-inch, operating excavators and other heavy equipment, reading water meters, and responding to emergency utility repairs.
As a member of our operations team, you will also assist with the operation and maintenance of the District's groundwater treatment facilities, SCADA system, booster stations, wastewater collection system, lift stations, and other utility infrastructure as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should possess, or be able to obtain within one (1) year of employment:
  • Missouri DS III Water Distribution License
  • Missouri Class D Drinking Water Treatment License
  • Missouri Class D Wastewater License
A valid Missouri driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.

We are seeking someone who is dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience with water distribution system maintenance, leak repair, heavy equipment operation, and utility construction. Candidates must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, participate in an on-call rotation, and take pride in providing exceptional service to our customers.
